What’s religion all about, anyway? What does it mean to be spiritual? Is that the same as being religious? Can I be “religious” without being “holier than thou”? What does it really mean to follow Jesus, amid all the other things I do on the job, in my family, and in my community? What does it mean to be saved? Is it really just eternal fire insurance? And what’s the Bible all about, anyway? A bunch of old irrelevant tales? More impossible-to-follow rules? A textbook that contradicts what the science and history profs tell us? These and many other baseline questions will be explored openly, honestly, and in a permission-giving way in a 7-week video-based series aimed at anyone who has questions about the faith and anyone who wants to grow in the faith!

7 weeks, led by various facilitators starting with Matt Gaston, Wednesdays beginning Aug. 24, 6:30 p.m. or led by Mark Lucke, Tuesdays beginning Sept. 13, 6:30 p.m. or Thursdays beginning Sept. 15, 9:30 a.m. Cost: $16 for optional workbook
